Stakeholder Presentation

A stakeholder presentation explains design decisions to people who influence or approve the project.

It is not only showing screens. It is explaining why the design is correct for the project.

Purpose

A good presentation creates alignment before decisions become expensive.

It should help stakeholders understand:

  • what problem the design solves
  • what options were considered
  • what tradeoffs shaped the decision
  • what evidence supports the direction
  • what feedback is needed now

Strong Presentation Connects

  • design choices
  • user needs
  • business goals
  • constraints
  • design principles
  • evidence from research or benchmark

Avoid

  • showing polished screens without context
  • presenting every exploration equally
  • hiding constraints until the end
  • asking for vague feedback
  • making the presentation only about personal taste

Useful Structure

context
  -> problem
    -> criteria
      -> design direction
        -> key decisions
          -> next feedback needed
