Dataset
The dataset should be a Google Spreadsheet.
It can be composed of different sources, such as comments from Facebook and Instagram.
It can and must be reworked. Examples:
- extracting the most used words in a list of comments
- calculating frequency
- categorising comments by topic
It can be multimodal, such as TikTok videos, authors, clips, and engagement metrics.
The dataset must include a description page where each column is commented on, and the process by which the data was collected and processed is described.
Slide Deck
The slide deck should be exported as a PDF.
It must contain:
- 3 research questions
- 3 findings for each research question
- data visualizations that support the findings
Findings are answers to the research questions, supported by visual evidence.
Process Document
The process document should explain with text and images the steps followed to produce the dataset and analysis.
Vibe Image
The vibe image is a visual summary of the topic or digital space.
It can be:
- a data visualization
- a collage
- an illustration
It is not just a cover. It should summarize the topic based on the analysis.
Grasping the vibe of a set of objects means perceiving both an overall unity and a logic of difference that makes the objects comparable.
